Product Implementation Services engineers are focused on packaged, enterprise-level services for the TCS commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) information sharing and cyber security products. The Professional Services Group leverages our close partnership with the TCS Product Development team, as well as our unparalleled experience in configuring and implementing TCS products and solutions across a wide variety of infrastructures and architectures.

Certification and Accreditation Support
Certification and Accreditation (C&A), as required by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002, is an informed approach to manage risk.
The integral start to any C&A effort is to fully understand the customer’s mission and how the system intends to meet this mission. To reach this understanding the TCS C&A team members identify all applicable information assurance (IA) requirements and propose a set of technical (software, hardware) and non-technical (facilities, processes) features, which allow for acceptable residual risk while accomplishing the mission.
Both Consulting Services and Product Implementation Services practices (as well as our Product Development team) contain a focus on C&A when working with classified US Government environments; however, applying C&A procedures to non-government systems provides a high degree of trust recognized by civilian and commercial environments.
The full systems engineering life cycle approach used by the Professional Services Group encompasses security engineering and integration support for each C&A effort, which delivers mission capabilities on tight, predictable developmental spirals. This rigorous system engineering process, with tightly integrated C&A aspects, allows TCS to minimize the risk of C&A findings late in the process when it can cause painful rework.
