SecureOffice Trusted Gateway on Linux
To protect our nation’s security, information and data are often created on a high-side network, but need to be securely transferred to a lower domain for use by another agency or organization. To effectively respond to threats, agencies often need to securely move large quantities of data or information from a lower level network to a higher level network. SecureOffice® Trusted Gateway™ provides secure, multi-directional information transfer using a graphical, web-based user interface. With SecureOffice Trusted Gateway, data can be transferred from one security domain or network to both lower and higher classified domains.
Benefits of SecureOffice Trusted Gateway:
- Application is web-based and user friendly, with support for all standard web browsers.
- Has increased capacity over other UNIX-based solutions that can move data to one or more approved networks.
- Any (specified) data type can be securely moved between differing classification levels, as well as across domains.
- Support and administration is easy, with web-based administration for most user administrative functions, minimal user training, and no software installation for users.
- Is easily configurable to support site security policies with:
- Optional dirty word search or two-person human review on upgrades and downgrades, and
- Virus scans of all files or exclusion of certain trusted types from scanning.
- Takes advantage of the security capabilities provided by Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 5 (RHEL5), the first secure Linux operating system to enter evaluation at Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (EAL4) under the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) against the Common Criteria requirements associated with Cross-Domain Solutions, which include Labeled Security Protection Profile (LSPP), Controlled Access Protection Profile (CAPP), and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) Protection Profile.
