Trusted Computer Solutions Announces March 23 Webcast

“Identifying Botnet Activity by Analyzing Network Behavior”


HERNDON, Va. – March 8, 2010 – Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc. (TCS), a leading developer of cross domain and cyber security solutions, today announced it will host a complimentary webcast titled “Identifying Botnet Activity by Analyzing Network Behavior” taking place on Tuesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. ET. As botnets threaten corporate, civilian and government networks around the globe, there are many conflicting ideas on how to detect and contain them. During the webcast, attendees will learn how Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), in conjunction with Anomaly Detection solutions, will help identify botnets on the network.

Leading the webcast is TCS’ Richard Cullingford, a designer and developer for the inference engine deployed in the company’s cyber security product CounterStorm. Richard has 20 years of experience in developing innovative applications using artificial intelligence in areas such as network security, transportation logistics, advanced telecommunications and human-centered interfaces to corporate database systems. For the last 10 years, he served as a Professor of Computer Science at Georgia Tech and the University of Connecticut. Richard has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University.
