Edward A. Hart, Director and Government Liaison, Digital Signal Corporation

Ed Hart has over 35 years experience creating, leading, restructuring and managing large technical and complex global organizations in both government and private industry. He began his career in government research and development, building and deploying systems worldwide.

Ed spent 32 years of his career with the National Security Agency where he rose through a succession of jobs and organizations to become the Deputy Director of Information Systems Security. He then moved to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the commercially focused Center for Information Security, he led its growth and positioned it for spin-out and ultimate sale. Ed also founded a consulting practice, Hart Enterprises, LLC providing technical and management services in the commercial sector.

Ed serves on the advisory boards of several companies. He earned a bachelor of science in mathematics and physics from Furman University, a master of arts in computer systems and management information systems from American University, and completed post graduate work in mathematics at American University and the University of Maryland. Ed has earned several notable distinctions including Presidential Distinguished Senior Executive, Presidential Meritorious Senior Executive, National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal, and Exceptional Civilian Service Award of the National Security Agency.
